Certainly while testing and there after if possible!
This works, trust me.

Windows XP Users

If you have more than 366MB of RAM, you may need to adjust your memory settings!

You can continue installing / tweaking / running the game without adjusting your memory settings, however most people have to adjust their RAM settings in some form.

Give the install it a try without adjusting it first. If you have problems, try one of the RAM adjustment methods listed later on.

Windows 9X Users

If you're using Windows 95/98/ME and your have more than 366MB of RAM installed on your PC, you'll probably need to adjust your maximum Windows memory settings as well.

There's a handy utility for this called 2MuchMem.

Find it, run it and "cap" your memory at 366MB.

NO-CD ROM Installs

Create ISOs. Here's a Freeware ISO creator.

Mount the ISOs using Daemon Tools, it's the best way to install.

If you have the disk space and are comfortable with using ISOs, you'll benefit from decreased map decompression loading times. Not to mention being able to store/archive your precious install CDs out of harms way.
